1. Get to Know ACA

Familiarize yourself with our website including our Mission & Vision, Distinctives, and philosophy of Classical Education.  Read the Reasons Not to Enroll at ACA and our Family Handbook.

2. Visit the School

The true culture of our school is best experienced by seeing ACA students in their active learning environment. The ACA Head of School and teachers will gladly answer questions as you observe classrooms. Schedule a personal meeting and tour or attend a scheduled Open House.

3. Return the application packet, which includes the following:

  • Completed New Student Application (one per student)(print and return to the school)
  • $100 non-refundable application and testing fee to accompany application
  • Arrange for a current or previous educator to complete and send directly to ACA the New Student Recommendation Form
  • Submit report card(s) or assessment(s) from previous year(s) and transcript(s) from previous school(s). Homeschooled students should present a summary of coursework completed during the previous year(s).
  • Submit Standardized test scores from previous year(s) (if tested)

4. Schedule Student Testing

Once application paperwork and fee are received, an administrator will contact the family and schedule a testing time for the student.

5. Attend Parent Interview

Following testing, an administrator will be in contact to schedule a family interview. Both (custodial) parents should plan to attend the interview.

6. Enrollment Decisions

After all application forms are received and reviewed, testing is completed and the student is determined to be adequately prepared for the grade to which he or she is applying, and the parent interview is completed, the family will be notified via email regarding an admissions decision. In cases where students are accepted for admission but a class is full, students are placed on a waitlist and notified when/if an opening becomes available.

7. Enrollment Form & Commitment

If an offer of admission is made, a completed Enrollment and Financial Contract along with non-refundable commitment deposit (10% of year’s tuition) must be received before a student placement at ACA is secure. The contract and commitment deposit are due within seven (7) days of receipt of acceptance. This date will be listed in the acceptance letter. Tuition payments for the balance of the total annual tuition begin in June and continue through May.

If placed on a waiting list, the tuition deposit is due within seven (7) days of notification of an opening.

On the rare occasion of mid-year student enrollment, tuition would be prorated accordingly.
